
The Czech Republic will focus on foreign trade liberalisation, support for small and medium-sized companies and lifting obstacles to the free movement of people during the period of its EU presidency in the first half of 2009, Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek said in Athens. The Czech Republic will also fight against European Union bureaucracy, Topolanek said after meeting his Greek counterpart Konstantinos Karamanlis.
