
Richard Galliano, one of the most important living accordion and bandoneón players on the international jazz scene, is considered the heir of the great Astor Piazzolla, his close friend and mentor. Galliano will be appearing live on 19 April at the Pallas Theatre in Athens, Greece to take the audience on a captivating musical journey through the world of tango, classical music and jazz. Galliano is presenting two personal projects at Pallas Theater, accompanied by his leading musicians for a unique concert. Piazzolla encouraged Richard Galliano to develop his own playing style, thus securing a brilliant career and top collaborations with artists such as Jan Garbarek, Michel Petrucciani, Toots Thielemans, Gary Burton, Miroslav Vitous, Charles Aznavour, Claude Nougaro and Juliette Greco.
