BRITISH COUNCILThe British Council has worked in Greece since 1939. We have offices in Athens and Thessaloniki offering a wide range of services and activities.
We work together with a large number of Greek organisations Ministries, universities, academic and research institutions and cultural organisations in both the public and private sectors. We have close relationships with the British Embassy in Greece and the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.
Our purpose
The British Council is the United Kingdom's international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations. Our purpose is to build mutually beneficial relationships between people in the UK and other countries and to increase appreciation of the UK's creative ideas and achievements. Currently we have 7,500 staff in offices, teaching centres, libraries and information and resource centres in 233 towns and cities in 109 countries and territories worldwide.

BRITISH HELLENIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE The British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1945 and is an independent organisation, run by its members for its members.
Its main aim is to promote and facilitate British-Hellenic economic, trade and investment relations through various activities i.e. conferences, seminars, roundtables, social events and any other activity which promotes British-Hellenic relations on a business and cultural level, joint trade and investment.
The Chamber assigns considerable importance to Northern Greece. Members based in this region are serviced from the office in Athens.
The Chamber is the official representative in Greece of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) and is also a member of the Council of British Chambers in Continental Europe (COBCOE) representing 7,000 Members in 20 Countries.

Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
The Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HACCI) was established in 1986 with the key objectives of promoting trade between Australia and Greece, and to assist Australian businesses that seek to establish and develop trade relations with Greece. HACCI has well established links into key trading bodies, government agencies and potential trade representatives in both countries.
The Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a Federation with State Chambers in Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales, Western Australia and Queensland.
THE AMERICAN-HELLENIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCEThe American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest and most active American chambers in Europe. It was formed in 1932. The Chamber sponsors some of the leading conferences, exhibitions, fora and investment events in Greece that draw the participation of the Prime Minister, leaders of the opposition, Prime Ministers and Ministers from throughout the region, and major personalities from the world of business, politics, and finance.
Virtually all American companies that do business in Greece are members of our Chamber as are most Greek companies that engage in trade with the United States. The American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization that is a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C., and the European Council of American Chambers of Commerce.
