Script: Sean Penn

Writer: Jon Krakauer

Starring: Emile Hirsch (Christopher McCandless), Vince Vaughn (Wayne Westerberg), Hal Holbrook (Ron Franz)

Length: 140 min

Reviews:

“Very Good Into the Wild is a beautifully made motion picture and some of the segments (especially those with Hal Holbrook and those that transpire around "the magic bus" in Alaska) are powerful. “Berardinelli, Internet Critic

“Very Good Into the Wild, a film that explores the incessant wanderlust of Virginia native McCandless, is captivating and multifaceted.” USA Today

“Very Good Sean Penn returns to directing with a flawed but refreshingly intelligent treatment of Into the Wild,..”. TV Guide Online

“Very Good Sean Penn's sprawling, lovingly crafted film is crowded with the sort of big-hearted, life-toughened characters one would hope to run into while tramping across America” Newsday
