Good News For Greece at the Movies |
Once again the Movies will send a boost to the flagging Greek economy. Fox Searchlight will distribute "My Life in Ruins," a romantic comedy starring Nia Vardalos ("My Big Fat Greek Wedding") in North America, Australia and New Zealand.The Donald Petrie-directed film, which co-stars Richard Dreyfuss, Harland Williams and Rachel Dratch, centers on a travel guide (Vardalos) who rediscovers her mojo as she leads tourists around Greece. The film is scheduled to be released in 2009 and will keep Greece in the spotlight after the success of Mamma Mia the movie.
