You may use the Embassy of Canada in Athens, Greece address to receive your special ballot voting kit if you’re a non-resident of Greece by sending us an e-mail providing us with your contact information and let us know that you are expecting to receive it at the Embassy.

Register before you go to vote while living abroad?
- Canadian electors living abroad who have previously resided in Canada can vote by special ballot in federal elections, regardless of how long they have been living abroad before October 15, 2019 by 6:00 pm Easter time. (Since you are registering from Greece, and the processing is being done in Canada - which takes a few days - the Embassy strongly recommends that you register well before the deadline of October 15, 2019.)

Register online at https://www.elections.ca/ Or fill in the registration form provided on the site and send it by fax.

The Embassy of Canada in Athens can fax your registration by Tuesday, 15 October by 4:00 pm. (Please note that the Canadian processing takes a few days so please register as soon as possible).
The Embassy of Canada in Athens, Greece can be used for clients (Canadian tourists or Canadian residents from all parts of Greece) to return their completed and sealed special ballot. The Embassy of Canada in Athens must receive your sealed special ballot no later than 12:00 pm on October 17, 2019. Ballots received after this deadline cannot be sent by the Embassy due to their arriving at Elections Canada after October 21, 2019. The Embassy will send the ballots to Elections Canada via DHL.
Another option is to bring the completed and sealed special ballot in person to the Embassy Monday to Friday from 08:30 am to 4:00 pm by the deadline of October 17, 2019 by 12:00 pm.
Alternatively, you may also send your completed and sealed special ballot directly to Elections Canada. Note that they must receive it no later than 6:00 pm Eastern Time on October 21, 2019. Ballots received after this deadline, by law, cannot be accepted.
