FokiaNou Art Space travels to Stockholm, participating for the second time in Supermarket 2023 Stockholm Independent Art Fair, which will take place in the Swedish capital from May 11 to 14, 2023.
For its participation in the international event, FokiaNou Art Space co-directors and curators, Mary Cox and Panagiotis Voulgaris, assembled a group of excellent artists who have collaborated with the space, either as participants in group exhibitions, or having held individual and two-person exhibitions. Addressing the central theme of this year's event entitled "Twilight zone", the twelve visual artists present their work in a full range of media, from drawing, painting, collage, ceramics, photography to video.
Staying true to its mission of the collaboration of Greek and foreign artists in the cozy apartment of Fokianou Street in Athens, FokiaNou Art Space is happy to participate in the international fair of independent art spaces in Stockholm, with the following artists:
John Bicknell, Maria Bourbou, Mary Cox, Susan Daboll, Angeliki Douveri, Dimitra Maltabe, Dionisios Pappas, Lea Petrou, Nikos Podias, Iliana Theodoropoulou, Geeta Roopnarine, and Panagiotis Voulgaris.
Upon returning to Athens, FokiaNou will hold a 3-day show with the work of the participating artists, from Thursday 18 May to Saturday 20 May, 17.00-20.00.
