Friends Of Merimna Annual Christmas Bazaar

"Friends of Merimna" open the Christmas Shopping season with their traditional Charity Bazaar, which is known for its rich variety of items and, most importantly, for the amazing bargains on clothes and accessories!

So, after a year of absence due to covid, "Friends of Merimna", the Non-Profit Association founded to offer support to the causes of Merimna and the children who need its services, are waiting for you at the 17th Christmas Charity Bazaar.

You will have the opportunity to enjoy a unique, festive atmosphere and to browse a colorful "bazaar", reminiscent of a Parisian open market, offering an amazing variety of original and useful gifts and toys, many sweet treats - such as aromatic homemade jams- charms and a whole host of wonderful decorations for the Christmas tree, books for young and old, as well as an eclectic collection of exquisite clothes, shoes, bags and jewelry- all at very affordable prices.

There are also big surprises this year at the Friends of Merimna Christmas Bazaar raffle, with special and unique gifts such as trips, electric bikes, electric scooters, hotel stays and much more. In detail the days and hours of operation of the Bazaar, are:

Thursday, November 11, 14.00 - 20.00
Friday, November 12, 10.00 - 20.00
Saturday November 13, 10.00 - 17.00

Also, don't forget, either entering the Bazaar to get strength for your purchases, or coming out to celebrate them, to make a stop at the small "local" café at the entrance.

There you will enjoy fresh organic juices, smoothies and a rich selection of aromatic coffees to make your day! *In accordance with the measures regarding the pandemic, from 6/11/21, to enter the bazaar you must have with you a vaccination certificate or a negative Rapid test (48 hours) or a certificate of having had covid, and your identity card.

The use of a mask inside is mandatory. All proceeds from the "Friends of Merimna" Bazaar go to support the work and services offered free of charge by Merimna:

- "Pediatric Palliative Home Care Service": a specialized interdisciplinary team (pediatricians, nurses, psychologist, social worker) offers medical and psychosocial services at home to the child suffering from a serious and life-threatening illness, while supporting the other members of his/her family and those who play an important role in his/her life.
- "Childhood Bereavement Counseling Centers" in Athens and Thessaloniki.
- Psychological support from specialized psychologists to the adolescent child and his/her family, who are mourning the loss of a loved one.
