Highlights of the evening:

THEATRE OF THE NO, Athens first English speaking theatre, presents, a night of extraordinary artistry as two musical masters, Yiannis Papadopoulos and Gilad Atzmon, come together for an unforgettable performance. From Baroque to Tango, Astor Piazzolla to John Coltrane, and even back to Bach, this duo will take you on a journey through lyrical improvisation and world-class jazz.




Yiannis Papadopoulos, a leading figure in Greece’s music scene, is celebrated for his poetic and inventive style. He will be joined by Gilad Atzmon, a global pioneer of World Jazz who masterfully blends Coltrane’s legacy with Mediterranean influences.



Adding a unique twist to the evening circus artists Camilo & Manuk, masters of acrobatics, mime, clowning, and acting, will join the musicians on stage. Together, they will craft a spontaneous fusion of music and theatrical artistry, delivering a one of a kind performance that promises to captivate, surprise, and enchant the audience.

THEATRE OF THE NO, Athens' first English speaking theater, presents the musical theatrical performance "Maria the Woman, Callas the Legend" conceived by Jenny Drivala and directed by Irini Konsta. This unique production offers a fresh perspective on the life and journey of Maria Callas, the legendary opera diva who continues to move and inspire audiences. The production will run for three exclusive performances, starting Wednesday December 4th, at 21.00.



A captivating show that delves into the extraordinary journey of Maria Callas. Through her personal correspondence with her sister, the duality of her existence unfolds the sensitive and complex woman behind the scenes, and the enduring legend who left an indelible mark on opera history. Did Maria Callas ever reconcile these two worlds?



The performance vividly brings to life Callas's rise to fame, her triumphs, her solitude, her fall, and her untimely death, along with her eternal place in the pantheon of history's greatest artists. Through a seamless blend of evocative words, stirring music, and unforgettable performances, audiences are invited to explore the poignant and complex relationship between her personal struggles and artistic genius.

Theatre of the No, Athens' first English theater, proudly presents BLUES CARGO for one performance on Friday 6th December at 22.30. The most authentic Chicago Blues Band of the Greek scene, after 37 years of continuous presence, remaining true to their beloved genre will take the audience on an unforgettable musical journey, featuring Chicago-Funky-Soul-Blues Standards and original compositions from their acclaimed albums, including "Delayed Delivery" (2009), praised by "BLUES Magazine," a leading American publication.

BLUES CARGO formed in Athens in 1987, achieving a level of authenticity in the Chicago blues sound that rivals many bands from Chicago itself. Their latest CD, "ON TIME," seals the band's dedication to this musical genre and has already gone "Gold." Blues Cargo has also been honored by the Blues Hall of Fame as one of the most important blues bands in Greece. 

The band has accompanied great musicians such as Guitar Shorty, U.P Wilson, Louisiana Red, Lurrie Bell, Big Time Sarah, Eddie C. Campbell, Lefty Dizz, Angela Brown, Lovie Lee, Byther Smith, Jean Carroll, Maxine Howard, Blind Mississippi Morris, Sweet Betty, Jimmy Morello, Nellie Tiger Travis, Jolly Jumper and Big Moe, Michael Dotson, Janice Harrington, and Matthew Skoller.

Our festive highlight of the year will take place this year on Sunday, 15 December, at the Oasis Hotel (Leoforos Poseidonos 27, Glyfada), a venue that will be familiar to anyone who attended the event up to 2011. 

The party will follow the same much-loved format of previous festive gatherings. We will have our own beautiful function room and there will be an even more amazing selection of food, drinks, music, dancing, kids’ entertainment and raffle. And there will of course be the customary visit from the big man himself, Mr. S. Claus.

Christmas for Irish people is a special time of year and is all about getting together to celebrate and have fun. We aim to put on a really nice lunch event, that is good value for money and provides the opportunity for everyone to come together.

We hope and look forward to seeing you all at this year’s party!

THEATRE OF THE NO, Athens' first English speaking  theatre, welcomes guitarist Panos Iliou for a special project that tells the story of Blues and its evolution.

On Friday, December 20th at 22:30, the performance will take us on a journey through the early forms of country blues and early blues, which remain the foundation and source of inspiration for countless musicians around the world.

From Dockery Farms, the birthplace of this musical legacy, Panos Iliou will guide us through a musical journey along the paths of Delta Blues, Piedmont Blues, Bentonia Blues, and Hill Country Blues, exploring the regions that shaped the authentic sound of the blues.

His music is not limited to the Mississippi Delta. The journey continues through Texas Blues, the East Coast, Memphis, and reaches Chicago, where modern "electric" blues was born.
